Frank Gibbs, Owner

Frank Gibbs (owner/CEO): Frank Gibbs is trained as a mental health therapist and has practiced for almost 10 years working with youth, teens, adults, and families. After moving to Toledo with his wife and two cats, their century home and restoring it became an interest that grew to an obsession. Finding out how the original wood windows were supposed to work harkened back to the childhood dream of becoming an architect and with the difficulty of finding someone to restore them, Frank set out to learn it himself.

From YouTube videos to finding old house accounts on Instagram, Frank researched these wonders and received feedback from industry restorers about the tricks of the trade as a DIYer. After a layoff, Frank decided–with the overwhelming support of his wife–to go full tilt into this trade after having restored a couple of their own windows and recognizing a community need for more restorers and craftspeople. Frank maintains his
network of those Instagram accounts that can now be called friends and colleagues to continue learning and growing his knowledge and skillset.
